The CYC reflects the diverse communities, perspectives, strengths, and passions of California's youth. Members amplify voices often overlooked, bringing invaluable insights and solutions to the table; their work is rooted in local connections with a statewide reach. The CYC is a program of the California Friday Night Live Partnership (CFNLP) and the Tulare County Office of Education (TCOE).
The CYC includes 17 members with representation from each of the six FNL regions. Every CYC member is an active contributor to their community, bringing lived experiences and solutions to the state level, where they influence policy, programming, and culture. CYC members benefit from:
